Here you will have access to many resources that can assist you in completing class assignments, research papers, etc. Please stop by and visit soon to learn more about all of these wonderful tools. Homework club

Homework club takes place in the Library every Monday to Thursday from 3.45-4.45pm. This after school club offers a supervised environment where students can get a head start on their homework and make use of the Library resources.

Dwight School London Online Resouces

The Dwight School London Library offers several online resources for student and staff use. Please feel free to use the following links at school and at home. Each student has their own password for each site. For password or any other issues, please contact amarquez@dwightlondon.org

Questia School is an online database and research tool designed for Diploma and upper year MYP students. This database allows students to browse thousands of digital titles and gives full access to a range of Academic Journals, Newspapers, Magazine Articles, Encyclopedias, and over 78,000 full text digital books. Students are able to create folders to save articles, quotes, and highlighted information for each of their projects. Also available is a one click citation function which is a favorite among students. Video tutorials and quizzes are available for students who are looking to improve their research and writing skills.

Linguascope is a linguistic program aimed toward MYP students. This program offers support for students learning English, Spanish, French, Italian and German. Students are able to build vocabulary, practice grammar and play games through an interactive interface that is accessible to students of all ages and mixed ability. Linguascope offers four levels of difficulty to differentiate materials based on level of knowledge.

Eclipse.net is library management system that allows teachers and students to view all of the material that the library has to offer. Through a functional and streamlined interface students may search for and place holds on books at school or the comfort of their own home. Additionally, students may view what books are most popular at school, what new books have arrived at school and even read and write reviews about what they have read. Currently, the school is building an e-book library that can be accessed through this same platform. This means students can check out books directly to an e-reader at from any location at any time!

Britannica School is an online encyclopedia program designed for both MYP and Diploma students. The website is differentiated into three levels for students of all abilities. Students can access encyclopedic definitions, articles, video content, pictures, approved web links and much more. Content can also be translated to many different languages or read aloud for language learners or those who prefer audio. Students, teachers and parents can rest assured that the information found on this site is safe, current and accurate as the site is constantly updated and edited by leading content experts.
