Parent Association Quiz Night
Thanks to the Parents Association for the excellent Quiz Night. I know that all of the teams had a great evening and we were all well catered for. The questions were challenging enough to ensure that the team I was on came last and there were many well placed teams above us.

D2 Art Exhibition
Another special event is the annual display of D2 art work. This was held on Wednesday this week, and many people passed the comment that the standard of work seemed to be higher than ever. There really were some excellent pieces and the students can be very proud of what they have produced. To view more photos of the art on display, please click here.

Theory of Knowledge Presentations
This week also saw the D2 students delivering their Theory of Knowledge presentations. Along with the Extended Essay, achievement in the Theory of Knowledge can earn the student as many as three bonus points on their IB DP scores.

Year 5 & 6 Parents
Thank you to those Year 5 and Year 6 parents who attended our introduction to the Upper School and to the Middle Years Programme evening on Wednesday. As ever, we are here to help you to gain a good understanding of how things work and we encourage you to contact us at any time.

M5 Targets
As we get nearer to the e-assessments we are asking the M5 students to identify a specific target that they think they can attain in these tests. This will be entered on a student reflection sheet and we shall be conducting individual interviews with each of them. At the same time they will be asked about the strategies that need to be employed between now and May. A copy of this will be sent home so that families can help students to best prepare.

M4 Visit to Lower School
Well done M4 students, who, on Thursday visited the Lower School to present the stories about refugees that they had created in the Individuals and Societies class with Mr. Triol. By all accounts these were very well received.
