School Ski Trip 2018 to Alpe'Huez France - Saturday, 10th - Saturday 17th February 2018
We are delighted to announce that our school is once more offering its traditional ski-trip and this year we plan to go in half-term to avoid any disruption to learning. Ski week is a perfect late winter break for students offering physical exercise, fresh mountain air and an opportunity to make new friends from across the whole school. Our trip is a family one and parents can join their children or send them with us. The trip is for students from Year 2 in the Lower School up to D1 in the Upper School. We would very much welcome families of our younger students to accompany their children on the trip if they are Year 4 and below.
Upper School students please note that the annual Carnegie Hall music trip will be taking place at the same time; budding musicians should check with Mr. Kraft before signing up for the ski trip.
The cost of the trip will be £1250 for students and £1350 for adults. Accommodation at The Club Vallee Blanche 3 star Hotel, ski and equipment hire, lift passes, ski school, and food is all included in the price. Should any adults travelling require a twin room the supplement will be £200 per person. It should be noted as always that it is compulsory for all children to wear helmets whilst skiing on a school trip as safety is our paramount concern. There is a minimum of 30 places available.
The trip this year will be led by Mrs. Miley from the PE and Admissions department and the Upper School Principal, Mr. Atkinson. Depending on numbers additional staff and adults may accompany the trip.
