Dear Parents,

As a member of the Independent Schools Association, and as an International Baccalaureate World School, we are accredited by both the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO).

During February we were visited by an inspection team from ISI. Over two days, three inspectors conducted a Regulatory Compliance Inspection involving lesson observations, formal interviews with students, scrutiny of students' work, discussions with members of staff and analysis of student and parent questionnaires. It was a busy two days! I am delighted to be able to inform you that all regulatory requirements were met by the school and there is no further action required by the school as a result of the inspection.

As this is a compliance only inspection, the judgements in the report are given only as met or not met, and as such the inspection report is very basic. We anticipate we will be visited by ISI again in the next three years, when they will complete a combined Regulatory Compliance and an Educational Quality inspection. In the meantime, we are completing the self study for the IB evaluation visit in October this year, which will focus a lot more on the curriculum and your children's learning.

You can view the inspection report here.

Kind regards

Alison Cobbin
