At last count, we had 56 different nationalities represented at Dwight. We are blessed with a diverse, international student and staff body; we truly are an international school. However, the IB concept of international mindedness goes far beyond flags, food and festivals (although these are great!) and the number of nationalities in a school. International mindedness is an encompassing concept in all three of the IB programmes we offer at Dwight. It is a lense through which to view life's experiences. International Evening

We are looking forward to celebrating the Dwight School London International Evening with you on Thursday, 7th March from 6.00pm -8.30pm in Jubilee Hall.


This is an evening of food and entertainment where we will be celebrating the diverse international community that we have here at Dwight. We would like to invite you to bring a national dish from your country to share. Please remember we are a nut-free school. If you would like to bring a dish for the evening, please register on this form here.


We will have entertainment from our Music department on the night and we cannot wait to share such a wonderful evening with you!

EAL Lessons for Parents

We have been hosting EAL lessons for Parents this term and want to continue after half term. The sessions will take place every Monday from 9-10am starting on Monday, 25th February with the final session on Monday, 25th March. All lessons are held at the Lower School and there is a cost of £10 for the term. They are for any parent, Upper or Lower School, who would like further support with their English language skills in a friendly and social context. If you would like to apply please click here.

  • Today, Friday, 15th February our Lower School mid year reports will be sent out electronically.
  • We are on half term from Monday, 18th February to Friday, 22nd February. 
  • On Monday, 25th February our Year 6 classes will be visiting the Mandela Exhibition.
  • On Tuesday, 26th February we have Dance Day so all classes will be getting dance instructions!
  • From Wednesday, 20th March to Friday, 22nd March we will be having our Lower School residential trips.
  • On Thursday, 28th March we have our Year 6 Exhibition.


Support North London Hospice ( our neighbours)

On Sunday, 5th May, North London Hospice are putting on their biggest event of the year the Big Fun Walk.  Two-thousand people, both adults and children, will be walking from Finchley to Westminster. It is a fantastic event and raises in excess of £150,000. Students and families from Dwight are welcome to attend. Find out more information here.

Dwight Global Concert Trip

This half term some of our students have gone to Shanghai for the Dwight Global Concert Trip! We wish them a lot of luck and cannot wait to hear what they experienced when they come back!


Ski Trip

We also have our Ski Trip this half term. We wish all of our skiers a fabulous trip!
