Planning for the Summer Fair
Please let me know if you are able to attend at dpa@dwightlondon.org. Keep Fit and Taste the World The annual International Breakfast and Fun Run takes place on Friday, 5th April between 8.40-10.20am and it would be great to see you there! The children will be running for up to 20 minutes. Children and parents are encouraged, but not required to get sponsorship for the Fun Run. Forms are available to download here or can be picked up from the Lower School Office. The money raised will be split 50% to The North London Hospice and the other 50% will go to the DPA to support the purchase of a new canopy in the Lower School's upper playground. We would also like to give you the opportunity to eat breakfast with your child at school. In order to make it truly international, we need your help. Please bring a plate to share food that you would usually eat for breakfast. We will be setting up the hall with all the breakfast foods from 7.45am. Please fill in the online form here by Friday, 29th March if you can contribute to the breakfast. Plates, cups, spoons, knives and forks will be provided by the school. Out and About Events On Friday, 22nd March the Out and About group visited The Charles Dickens Museum. This was where Charles Dickens moved in 1837 with his wife and child in his 20's. He wrote Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist and Nicholas Nickleby while living there. It was amazing to see his desk and learn more about such an iconic Londoner!
