Dear FIRSTNAME Welcome to this week's news! Friday, 24th May, 2019 Welcome from the Head of School The summer term always seems to disappear in haste and it is hard to believe that the first half is over. It has been a very busy half term; in addition to the usual variety of trips and activities both in and beyond the classroom, we have hosted a large group of students from New York for a week, we have welcomed three students from Qibao Dwight for a term and we have completed the final IB Diploma exams. This evening we honour our departing students with a Graduation Dinner.

M3 French Trip On Thursday, 6th June, M3 French students will be visiting the National Gallery to study the Impressionist work of arts. Students have been studying the Impressionist movement in French class this term and have been learning about Impressionist artists and paintings in French. They will observe the paintings in real life in the National Gallery and complete tasks in French. They will then go to St. James Park for a picnic and take pictures of nature that could be the inspiration for an impressionist artist. They will use those in class to complete further tasks.
Miss Danvers and Miss Vilatte will accompany the students for the day. We will be leaving at 9.30am and returning for the end of the school day. A packed lunch will be required and students should bring their oyster cards.
