Summer is wonderful but most of our children are pleased to be back with their friends and are ready to return to school and continue their learning journey.
Over the summer our admissions team has been working non-stop so that we have been ready to welcome over 60 new students and their families to the school.. Read more...

Meet the Teacher and Upper School Transition On Monday it is our final Meet the Teacher meeting. On this occasion it is for the parents in Year 5 and Year 6. Meet the Teacher has been a very good way of sharing the curriculum activities and events with parents. It has been nice to see so many parents.
Meet the Teacher meetings helps both students and their parents with the transition to a new Year group. We are also helping Year 6 transition to a secondary school setting by getting them ready for their visit to the Upper School next week on Thursday 12th September.
This is a great opportunity for Year 6 to spend time in our Upper School and to meet some of the teachers whilst the majority of the Upper students are out on their residential trips. We want this to be as realistic an experience as possible and therefore we ask that the Year 6 children are dropped off, picked up and eat at the Upper school Spahn building that day.
Safety Reminders As we settle back into Lower School routines can I remind you of 3 established safety rules:
At the end of the school day we expect children to be picked up on time, if they are not they then expected to go to the hall before being taken to the Library.
Upcoming trips
Community Assemblies On Thursday, our school day starts with a community assembly for M1 - D2. These start at 8:30am in Jubilee Hall. All students should report directly to the hall to start their day. If students are on a bus and are dropped at the Spahn Campus, arrangements will be made to chaperon these students over to the hall.
Residential trips We are excited to announce that our Residential Trips are next week. You were recently sent an email outlining key information about the trip, including packing lists and lead teacher contact. This follows the summer welcome letters (link here) which contained relevant back to school information and outlines of the trip! You have all been sent emails outlining some key information relating to these trips, including packing lists and lead teacher contact information. Please note, that if you child is not attending the trip that there is no school supervision or provisions for them to be in school. M2 - D2 trips will leave on Monday morning, and the specific timings can be found in the email that was sent. Please let Mr Beddows know if you did not receive his email.
Important Note: M1 and D1/2 trip - students who take the school bus will need to make their own to school for the start of the trip. The school buses will not arrive in time for our departure. All of the trips arrive after or very close to the end of the school day on Friday, September 13th, therefore arrangements should be made for students who take the bus in M1 - D2 so that they have a safe and secure way to get home.
Further M1 trip Information: Monday - students will have 2 workshops. They will need to arrive at 8:30am at the Spahn Building where they will have an Introduction to the MYP led by Ms Villatte, MYP coordinator, in the morning.
