Wednesday, 1st July 2020 A Message from the Head of School In the final Dwight Bulletin of the 2019-2020 school year there is much to reflect on. The huge impact of Covid-19 has made it difficult to look past the major upheaval of the past months to have a balanced view of the school year. However, despite the many challenges there have also been celebrations. Please watch the video below to see some of the highlights of our year at Dwight. We have also discovered that there are creative online solutions to celebrating as a community. We have hosted a virtual graduation, online parent consultations, a virtual PYP exhibition, online collaborative Group 4 science project, a global online music concert, google meet assemblies and an MYP celebration!
I am so proud of our learners. Some have struggled with the emotional strains of the events in the news and the impact of being away from friends and the structure of school. Others have thrived on the additional independence of remote learning. All have learned to cope with new and unexpected situations. I have been impressed with their resilience, kindness, patience and their desire to make a positive difference.
