Dear parents/guardians,
At Dwight School London, we acknowledge and value the power of education, and it is on that note that we warmly invite you to our third annual IB Continuum Evening. This is an evening that aims to educate you about all aspects of our curriculum, from the Primary Years Program to the Diploma Program! We hope that you leave with further understanding of the IB and information that you can use to support your children on their learning journey. The focus of the evening will be how Dwight's IB education prepares students for the future, in both skill development and mindset. Over the last number of months we have been reminded of the need to be dynamic, innovative and agile in our teaching and learning. We need to equip students with the skills to navigate an uncertain future. It is this 'future readiness' that we want to explore in a series of informative sessions throughout this evening.
During the evening, you will have a choice of short, engaging and informative workshops that will provide more information on aspects of the IB that prepare students for the future. These will include Action, the Learner Profile, Pathways to Higher Education, Wellbeing and Spark Tank.
This event will be held online via the Google Meet platform and will take place on Tuesday, 17th November from 6 - 7:30pm. Please note: this is a date change from previous communication in the newsletter. Please follow the link below to join the Google Meet main session, and then details will be shared about breakout rooms during the presentation. Students are welcome to join. I look forward to seeing you virtually on the 17th November.
Kind regards, Alison Cobbin / Head of School |
