Dear Parents,

Dwight’s Autumn Fair will take place this Saturday, 17th September from 11.00am-2.00pm at the playing fields on Dale Green Road, N11 1DL (parking is available on site).

It’s a fun day out for the whole family with a range of games and activities plus delicious food and more. It’s also a great way for new families at Dwight to meet other families in the school. We look forward to a great turn out!

Entry to the fair itself is free; raffle tickets cost £1 each or £4 for a strip; the activity stalls cost between 50p and £2, and there will be a range of food and drink for sale on the day.

As a fundraiser and community event*, we rely on the help of our school community to make these events a success. If you can assist us we’d love to hear from you!

How you can help...

Families who want to contribute something to be sold alongside the BBQ (burgers and sausages) and international food stall (falafel, butter chicken and Japanese food) are welcome to bring something on the day. We suggest families with surnames starting with A-M bring a dessert, cake or baked goods, and families with surnames starting with N-Z bring a salad or side dish.

Set up/clear up

We need volunteers to help:

  • Set up the for the fair on Friday afternoon between 1:30-3pm
Finish setting up on Saturday morning between 9-11am
  • Clear up after the fair from 2-3.30pm
  • Email Alison Dunatov at or just show up at the playing fields on the day if you can help out.

If you want to volunteer during the fair visit the Parent Association stall and we’ll let you know where some extra help is needed.

Raffle Prizes

We’ll be selling raffle tickets throughout the day as part of the fundraising drive*, but we really need more prizes to make the raffle really great! If any families have a prize to donate, or can arrange donations of goods or services associated with your companies please contact Alison by email: Thanks!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Warm regards,

The Dwight Parents’ Association

*The Autumn Fair is both a community social event and a fundraising initiative. All money raised at the fair goes 50% to the school’s chosen charities and 50% to Dwight’s Parent Association (DPA). The DPA funds are used for extras for the school community which are above and beyond the remit of the school. For instance last year the DPA helped finance the new Lower School radio station and the table tennis and netball equipment at the Upper School.
