Dear Parents,
We are now into our second month of the school year and seeing your children happily settled in school with their teachers as well as their peers, is an absolute joy.
It is this time of the year when we host one of the many events where parents participate and get involved their child's school life for a day. On Friday, 14th October we will be hosting our Back to School Morning.
The idea behind the Back to School Morning is to see first-hand what your child does in a regular school lesson. We would like to invite you into school to spend sometime in your child's classroom and ask you to join in the activities and their learning. This is also an opportunity to share the experiences your child goes through during part of their day here. You are also invited to join your child for lunch if you have time.
Please note that this is not a time for you to discuss your child's progress or work with their teacher.
Registration
To help us with catering and classroom places we would like parents who want to attend our Back to School Morning to register here by no later than 12 noon on Monday, 10th October. Please note that the regsitration form will expire at this time as late registrations cannot be accommodated.
Itinerary
- 11.00am - Arrive at Lower School and meet in the school Hall
- 11.00-11.30am - Meet Mr. Parkin, Mrs. Hornshaw, Mrs. Brooks and the School Prefects in the Hall for refreshments and an overview of the expectations for the day.
- 11.30am-12.30pm - Join your child for a 30 minute lesson, fill out a questionnaire and for those that are staying, start lunch.
- 12.00-1.40pm - Lunch will be served and you can play outside with the children too.
- 1.40-2.00pm - Parents complete an short exit survey before departing.
