Dear Parents,

As you will have read in the newsletter before the half-term break, we will be holding a new event in the Lower School this Thursday and Friday (3rd and 4th November) called ACE time. ACE time stands for Adult, Child Evaluation. This is another opportunity in the school year to share and celebrate your child's learning. ACE time is different to the 'Back to school Day' as we are inviting you into school for your child to share their books, portfolios and  have a chance to talk to you about their learning journey so far. It is also an opportunity for you to give your child valuable feedback about their learning, discuss their next steps and celebrate their successes. In Kindergarten and Reception the children will be sharing their learning in their environment and will provide you with an opportunity to enjoy learning through play with your child. If you are unable to attend these sessions please do not worry, there will be another ACE time during Term 2 and of course we have our 3-way conferences in Term 3.

ACE time will run from 9am until 10am on Thursday, 3rd November for Lower Primary, this includes Kindergarten, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and Friday, 4th November for Upper Primary, this includes Years 3 to 6. ACE time will run as a drop-in session meaning you do not need to attend the whole time and can come anywhere between 9am and 9.30am, finishing promptly at 10.00am.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,
