Dear Parents,

Memorial Assembly for Julia Watson - 3.00pm Tuesday, 14th March, Jubilee Hall

On Tuesday, 14th March we will be finishing lessons in the Upper School at 2.45pm so that students, staff, parents and friends can join us for a memorial assembly for Julia Watson, our much loved Assistant Principal, IBMYP Coordinator and Humanities teacher, who passed away last week. A short assembly will be held in the Jubilee Hall at 3.00pm, followed by refreshments.

Julia's family has requested that we make this a happy occasion, reflecting Julia's optimistic outlook and cheeky sense of humour, so if you would like to join us, please bring your happy memories of Julia to share over a cuppa and a biscuit, following the assembly.

There will be an opportunity to contribute to a book of condolences after the assembly.

Upper School students who do not wish to attend the assembly, and have parental permission, will be allowed to leave school at 2.40pm. Those who do not wish to attend, but wish or need to stay at school will be supervised until 3.40pm.

The Lower School will be running a normal school day however, Lower School parents who wish to attend are very welcome, with or without their children.

Please pass this message on to anyone you know who may be interested in joining us.

Kind regards
