Leading International School, Dwight London is excited to share our outstanding results from the 2023 Diploma Programme!

The unique nature of the International Baccalaureate opens doors to a diverse range of courses and universities around the world. Given the nature of the early results, compared with those of A’ Levels in the UK, our students can now prepare with certainty over what they will be doing next year.

The International Baccalaureate at Dwight fosters students who develop an excellent breadth and depth of knowledge and flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically. This provides more opportunities for our students to secure places at a diverse range of university destinations; they include:

  • Noah who will be studying Computer Science at the University of St. Andrews
  • Natalie who will be studying Linguistics at UCL
  • Daamitha who will be studying Biomedical Science at King's College London
  • Nikhil who will be studying at his chosen destination of the University of California, Irvine.

The results saw an average score of 35 which puts us above the global and UK average score. 20% of the students entered for the Diploma scored over 40 points (the equivalent of 3 A*s at A Level), with our highest scoring students achieving a fantastic score of 42. These results build on Dwight School London's status as an ISI rated school of excellence. We are a non-selective international school and everyone at Dwight School London is incredibly proud of the IB Diploma results from our Graduating class of 2023.

Nikhil, a graduating student, said, “I felt relief when I saw my results, but overall very proud of the work I had done to get these amazing grades. I am closing this chapter of my school life with great accomplishments and heading to California (UC Irvine) knowing that the IB will give me course credits that will put me above and beyond my non-IB peers.

“My 7 in higher level history and total score of 36 is something that I am immensely pleased with and I will sincerely look back on fondness of my time spent in the Diploma Programme. Supportive teachers and classmates really contributed to these results!”

Chris Beddows, Head of School, says, "I am very proud of our graduating students who have worked incredibly hard over the past two years and fully deserve to enjoy their summer in the knowledge they’ll be going onto some of the world’s most outstanding universities.

“Our Class of 2023 students have benefitted from an outstanding education at Dwight during which time they have also developed life skills which will ensure they are also well prepared for future successes. I wish them the very best in their future endeavours!”
