Dwight School London is a non-selective school and we welcome students from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of abilities. Scholarships are awarded during the admissions process to recognise talented students who show strong potential to be successful International Baccalaureate students at Dwight School London and who will make a positive contribution to the life of the school.

Primary Years Programme Scholarships

Two scholarships will be awarded across the following category.

Junior STEAM scholarship

Are you a creative thinker who enjoys solving problems? Do you have an interest in the STEAM subjects? Would you like to join an innovative international community of students who strive to make the world a better place? If so, this scholarship could be for you.

Eligibility: Open to new students who will enter the PYP programme (Year 3 - Year 6).

Award: Two scholarships with up to 20% remission of school fees for duration of the Primary Years Programme expiring at the end of Year 6.

Application details: Applicants will complete the admissions process which includes parent and student statements as well as school reports.

Scholarship process: Applicants can choose from four different scholarship categories. Each of these have a different brief with application requirements:

Music
Theatre Arts (tbc)
Visual Arts

Alison Cobbin PYP Opening Doors Scholarship (Year 3 - Year 6)

Dwight School London offers a unique opportunity to join an international community of students undertaking the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme in North London. This Scholarship is intended for students who show strong potential to be successful IB students at Dwight School London but who are unable to fund the tuition fees in full or part.

Eligibility: Open to new students who will enter the PYP programme (Year 3 - Year 6).

Award: A single scholarship with up to 100% remission of school fees.

Scholarship details: This scholarship is for students with a strong academic record who would benefit from the rigorous, broad-based PYP curriculum. The IB encourages independent, inquiry-led learning and international mindedness. We are seeking students who aspire to work towards the IB goal of, “a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.” Scholarship levels will be calculated and awarded in relation to a family’s financial circumstances based on an external means-test which includes a review of income and capital resources. Scholarships are awarded for the duration of the IB PYP Programme (until the end of Year 6).

Application details: Applicants will complete the admissions process which includes parent and student statements as well as school reports. There will also be an external financial assessment.

On award of the Scholarship, we invite families to proceed with the external financial assessment to determine the award level of the Opening Doors Scholarship component.

Middle Years Programme Scholarships (Year 7 to Year 11)

Two scholarships will be awarded across the following categories.

Eligibility: Open to Year 7 - Year 11 students who will enter the Middle Years Programme.

Award: Two scholarships with up to 20% remission of school fees for the duration of the Middle Years Programme expiring at the end of Year 11.

Dwight School London is an innovative international community of students who strive to make the world a better place. This scholarship is open to current and prospective students who are creative thinkers and problem solvers who have an interest in STEAM subjects.

Eligibility: Open to students who will enter the IB Diploma programme.

Award: Up to 20% remission of school fees.

Scholarship details: This scholarship recognises the importance of science, technology, engineering, arts and maths within the International Baccalaureate and in meeting the challenges of the 21st century. The scholarship covers the two years of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Years 12 and 13).
