Services provided
We offer full provision, including wraparound care, for 48.2 weeks of the year. Little Lions Nursery is open between 7:30am and 6:30pm, as well as offering shorter sessions within the school day. Older children in our Junior or Senior School will also be offered wraparound care during term time to make drop-off and collection as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Little Lions Nursery is run by Dwight School London, who have been supporting children's learning for nearly 50 years. This means we bring a wealth of experience and all our staff are trained professionals. We are also one of the few schools in the country to offer an early years International Baccalaureate education, which is focused on letting children's curiosity guide them through their early exploration of the world and creating caring, resourceful and creative young people.
Lunches, snacks and, where needed, nappies, wipes and other hygiene essentials are also included in the fees.
Our day
Each day your child will engage and gain so many experiences as we follow their interests. During the day, mornings at Little Lion Nursery start with a moment of togetherness where we share with each other. Throughout the day your child can engage and explore through play, as well as sensory, craft and other enriching activities that fully capture their experiences - and not just indoors. Embracing nature as a Forest School is very much part of the learning.
After lunch, it is important to remember those moments of calmness. Wellbeing and rest is part of the daily routine. Our afternoon session continues with more cosy moments of coming together where your child can further develop their interests and skills as they continue to freely explore, handle, manipulate, investigate and experience real authentic treasures. Finally, as we get ready for home time we share our most enjoyable and special moments of the day before we say goodbye to our friends.

Payment and fees
Children will benefit from our enriching Nursery environment each day they are at the Nursery, whether it is all-year round or during term time. In order to best support your child's development, we require you to register for a minimum of 2 full days, extending up to 3, 4 or 5 days a week. Bookings for a minimum of 2 days must include a Monday or a Friday.

Parking: There is restricted parking immediately around the nursery site with some parking bays available from Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm. There are some yellow lines where parking is restricted on Monday to Friday from 2pm - 3pm.
