Yes, we will offer free entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds. Please speak to the admissions team for more details.

The ratios for 2 year olds are 1:4 and for 3 years and over 1:8.

Your child will be assigned a key person and have a qualified teacher. Their role is to help build a secure relationship with both you and your child and be the person who ensures the care and learning is tailored to your child's needs. 

Our Nursery is required to continually carry out daily risk assessments of both the indoor, outdoor spaces and whenever we take children off site. We record all accidents, incidents and any medication that is given with a signed doctor's note.     

Being part of an International Baccalaureate school we will introduce the Primary Years Programme (PYP) through the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. 

We provide a range of activities that reflect your child’s interests and next steps in their learning. We want your child to have positive experiences in everything they do while in our care. Your child will engage with all sorts of activities from using real authentic items, the same that can be found in your home to exploring the outdoors and learning how to build relationships with nature and living things around them.  
 

Nursery staff will document your child’s daily routine. This will include what they have eaten, naps if they have them and if your child is toilet training, how this is going each day. We will of course document those important moments and carry out observations on your child that help to ensure they are making progress. You will always have ongoing feedback. 
 

The Nursery has an on site catering team. Holroyd Howe catering provides all meals and snacks throughout the day to maintain a balanced healthy diet. They provide all information on allergens contained in the food. We will work closely with you to meet the dietary requirements of your child. We maintain the food hygiene and safety regulations. 

Little Lions Nursery reinforces positive behaviour. We provide a personalised approach to support your child and you as a family to promote positive, respectful behaviour and enjoyment of learning.
 

All meals and snacks, and where needed, nappies, wipes and other hygiene essentials are included in the fees.

Little Lions Nursery is part of Dwight School London, a global school. We will fully support your child’s home language and culture throughout all aspects of their learning journey.  We ensure there are:

• Learning of key words in your child's first language to help support communication and understanding;
• Celebrate your child’s culture and respect your wishes as a family;
• Sharing stories, books, rhymes and songs;
• Provide experiences and activities that promote language through play.
