Extracurricular clubs by school
Junior School
I hope that every Junior School child has had a wonderful Term 1 experience at Dwight School London so far. It has been a real pleasure for me as Assistant Principal to see the myriad of shining sparks and to see academic progress being made across the year groups.
Thanks to valuable feedback from our community, we are delighted to share our extra curricular club lists ahead of the actual sign-up which will open on Tuesday 3rd December at 9:30am. We hope this provides you with time to review and discuss club options with your children for Term 2 in advance of the sign up. Please note, this sign up is just for after school clubs, our lunch clubs will continue to run in Term 2 and students will be able to sign up for those at school. We are proud of the range of offerings available for our students!
You may notice a slight increase in the cost of clubs compared to the first term. This is due to the introduction of 20% VAT, which now applies to our after-school clubs. However, this has been partially offset by Term 2 being shorter than the first term.
All Junior Clubs will begin on the week of Monday 13th January and end on Friday 28th March. The exception is karate, which begins on Thursday 23rd January.
Lastly, our popular Science Club, run by the incredible STEM Dorado, will continue. However, it is priced slightly higher than other clubs due to the costs associated with materials for running this exciting club.
If you have any questions about the clubs or feedback on the process, please do not hesitate to contact me.
