Junior School
Please carefully read the details of our After School Activities processes below.
Our After School Activities will take place from 3:50pm - 4:40pm during the weeks of Monday 9th September - Friday 6th December, excluding the half-term break.
Please take this opportunity to go through the list of clubs with your child before signing them up to the club of their choosing based on the year groups specific to each club. Please note that clubs hosted by external companies incur a charge.
We advocate that our children partake in a maximum of up to 3 clubs a week. Should a child be registered for more than one club on any given day, they will only be accepted to the first club that they were registered for. Clubs have limited places and sign up is on a first-come first-served basis.
As with all aspects of school life, we encourage our students to demonstrate balance in their selection of clubs throughout the week and importantly commitment to the clubs they wish to sign up for.
We will still run our DASC (Dwight After School Club [formerly DASH]) service for families who are unable to collect their child at dismissal time. DASC (formerly DASH) will be in our Innovation Room for Reception to Year 6 students until 5:30pm. This will commence from 3 September and information on how to book will be sent out in the next week.
You can now sign up for all the clubs on a single form below. It is important that you check if you have received a confirmation email. Please notify the school at jsoffice@dwightlondon.org if you do not receive a confirmation email.
Please note the Club booking system opens at 4pm and the closing date to register for Clubs is Thursday 5th September at 4pm, after which the booking system will close.
We are also delighted to announce that in addition there will be a new range of lunchtime activities which will include choir, ensemble/band, football, netball, radio etc. We will be sharing more information about in the first week of term and students will be able to sign up for these at school.
Kind regards,
Stephen Spoore
Junior School Assistant Principal
